Calling services – Lewis-Clark Valley, Camas Prarie
Update 7/10/25: We are still experiencing intermittent issues with calls dropping in less than a minute in the LCV and the Camas Prairie. This is only affecting customers who are utilizing our legacy CDMA network. If you would like to transition to VoLTE services sooner, please contact our support team to verify that you have a compatible device and SIM.
At this time, calling services in the Lewis-Clark Valley, Julietta, and Kendrick areas are having intermittent issues. Customers in these areas may experience dropped calls if they are utilizing our legacy CDMA network.
We are transitioning customers from the legacy CDMA technology to VoLTE in phases based on geographic region. The areas affected by the current calling issues have not transitioned to VoLTE. If you would like to opt in to VoLTE services sooner, please contact our support team to verify that you have a compatible device and SIM. We will then transition you to VoLTE services to resolve the current call drop issue.
Transitioning voice traffic to data networks is a key progression in the wireless industry; however, data signals and voice signals travel differently and provide varying coverage areas because they are distinct technologies. Customers using VoLTE can enjoy the benefit of simultaneous voice and data services when making voice calls over LTE connections. Simply put, you can use data services while also on a phone call. When both parties utilize a VoLTE calling connection, you will notice a fast call connection, improved call quality, and reduced background noise.
Thank you for your patience as our team works to fully restore services.
