VoLTE Troubleshooting
Quick guide for devices that are VoLTE capable:
iPhone 8 or newer
A11 or newer
Galaxy Note 10 or newer
Galaxy S10 or newer
iPhone devices listed below may need to toggle VoLTE on if their device is showing no service.
- Settings – Cellular – Cellular Data Options – Voice & Data – Toggle VoLTE on
- iPhone 8, iPhone SE (2020), iPhone XR, and iPhone XS
Samsung devices listed below may need to switch network modes if their device is showing no service.
- Settings – Connections – Mobile networks – Network mode – Choose LTE/GSM
- Samsung A12, A51, A42, A52, S10e, S10, S10 Plus, S20, S20 Plus, S20 Ultra, Note 10, Note 10 Plus, Note 20, Note 20 Ultra
WiFi Calling:
If you are in a fringe service area, most devices can utilize WiFi calling if you have internet service.
- iPhone: Settings – Cellular – WiFi Calling – Toggle on
- Samsung: Settings – Connections – Wifi Calling – Toggle on
