Transitioning into the Next Generation of Mobile Communications
We want to thank you for your patience and apologize for any inconveniences during our transition into the next generation of mobile communications. The mobile industry has made significant changes in an effort to satisfy the higher-density populations. All national carriers have shut down all legacy voice networks (CDMA) to switch to mobile Voice Over LTE for all voice and text services.
Unlike the national carriers, Inland Cellular has elected to operate our CDMA and Voice Over LTE networks. This isn’t a simple process. We have seen challenges and know this transition has caused growing pains for our network, customers, and employees. You’re more than a customer to us; you’re a neighbor, and we strive to give you the best service and mobile experience.
At this time we will be operating multiple calling networks. Customers inside the Inland Cellular regional area will continue using the legacy CDMA network while customers outside of the area will use the next generation of wireless VoLTE services for voice and text.
We truly appreciate your patience and thank you for choosing Inland Cellular.

- If you have an Apple device you need a VoLTE-ready phone and SIM card.
- All Apple devices also need to turn on VoLTE in the settings under cellular, cellular data options, voice & data.
- If you have a Samsung device you will also need a software update and depending on the device an OMC update.
