Equipment Service & Repair

Equipment Service & Repair Center:

Our Equipment Service & Repair Center is the place for handset questions, advanced technical support, and physical repairs on most cell phone models.

Equipment Service:
Handsets are becoming more feature rich with every new release. Getting a new phone can be over whelming, especially if you’ve just made the jump from a non-feature phone to a smart phone. Sometimes a minute or two of coaching can make all the difference in operating the more advanced features of your smart phone. This is a great opportunity for you to come in and visit me.

Repair Service:
What can you fix?” This is a question I’m asked often. From your trusty ol’ cell phone you’ve had for years that needs some TLC, to the fancy smart phone with a cracked screen, I can probably fix it.

If you have questions, come visit me or call me at (208)-798-0245 ext. 2235

I have a galax s3 that needs the scrren replaced, how much would the cost be? Do i need to have service on it so you can fix it?

    • Randi Winchel on March 4, 2016 at 8:24 am

Araceli, it’s best to bring the phone into the store for an estimate on how much repairs will be. The repair desk in Lewiston is open Mon-Thurs 8am-6pm. You don’t need to have active service on the phone to fix it.

    • Josh Pilon on March 4, 2016 at 8:37 am

Araceli, come in and see me (Mon-Thur). I’ll take a look at your phone and give you a quote. Thank you!

Brandon, we are currently out of stock on S5 screens, but an average price for the repair will be $125.

I need a cracked screen replaced on an iPhone6, is that something u can do in your shop and how much would you charge?

    • Randi Winchel on August 29, 2016 at 10:25 am

Our repair shop can fix that. If the touch screen still works then the cost will be around $135, if the screen isn’t working or has black spots it will be $150. Just take your phone into our store and our repair tech will get it fixed for you.

  5. Ryann on November 18, 2016 at 4:56 pm

I need my iPhone 6 fixed asap. And I need it soon. Is there any way the screen could be replaced either same day or overnight? Are you guys open next weekend? It would be $150 for the screen replaced, since it’s glitching and has blacks pots and only half way works. Please let me know if there’s some way you can fix it sooner rather than later.

    • Randi Winchel on November 21, 2016 at 9:55 am

Ryann, the fastest way to get your phone fixed is to bring it in and let our repair tech take a look at it. We’ll be able to give you a timeline for fixing your phone once we’ve had a chance to take a look at it.

    • Josh Pilon on November 21, 2016 at 10:30 am

Hey Ryann, I’m the repair tech at IC in Lewiston. I work Monday-Thursdays most weeks (this week Monday-Wednesday b/c of Thanksgiving). As long as you drop it off (or find a way to get it to me) on a day I work I should be able to have it done in a couple hours. Let me know what works for you. Thanks!

My sister dropped her phone and it cracked and now the screen won’t work but you can still hear notifications and use Siri. Can it be fixed?

    • Josh Pilon on January 25, 2017 at 2:26 pm

Stacy, most likely the screen has been damaged. Good news is we can repair it! Feel free to call me or visit the Lewiston store across from Ross & TJ Maxx.
