Off Network Calling
May 3, 2024We currently have an issue with the media gateway on our network. Calling to or from lines using VOLTE is not working as well as any calls on or off of network from CDMA phones. Network engineers are working to get it back up as quickly as we can. No ETR yet but updates can be found here when we have more information about this issue.
Intermittent Calling Issues – Network Wide
April 30, 2024Customers calling from VoLTE to ported-out numbers are receiving calling errors. CDMA-only phones are having issues receiving incoming calls due to routing. This issue does not affect text messaging services. Our network team is working to resolve these issues as quickly as possible.

If you do not have the most up-to-date device software, a VoLTE-capable SIM & phone, your calling and text messaging services may be impacted when using our national partners’ networks. LTE data services will remain functional, and customers can utilize over-the-top applications to communicate when outside our home area. iMessages and Facetime audio calls for iPhone users will still be functional because these messages travel over the LTE data network. Samsung users calling via google duo will also work.
